We bred our Ch. Hylan Shotru Krisna Brandy to the newly imported English,American Champion Chtaura Dream Machine 'Liam" in early 2005. Brandy whelped 1 male and 3 females all red goldens with black tips.
They are pictured above at 4 & 6 weeks old. Both parents are linebred back to Intrepid through Ch. Chakpori's Up To Date here in the USA and Ch. Saxonsprings Fresno in the U.K. This combination ties our pedigrees very closely to what we strive for here at Hylan Shotru Lhasa Apsos.
These puppies already display lovely narrow heads, moderate stops well placed eyes of correct shape. Hard correct coat texture is already showing itself at this lenght - shinny crisp to the touch. Intrestingly they both have sissors bites at this age with wide underjaw adding to desired expression.

Having carefully line bred our Lhasas over the last 26 years based on the combination of Hamilton Lhasas bred to the best Intrepid Line bred dogs. We were actively looking for a new dog related to our pedigrees to breed to our Ch. Hylan ShoTru Date With Destiny daughters.
We discovered Liam at Crufts 2004 being shown by his breeder owner Anne Waterhouse. His pedigree goes back to - a the famous linebred Fresno grandson Ch. Chethang Nathan an outstanding sire in the U.K.. Liam at age 5 is an English Champion winner of many Specialty shows was a much loved house pet of Anne's and after a lot of persuading , Anne agreed to allow him to spend a year in the USA where the best Hylan Shotru Champion bitches were waiting for him..
Pat made three trips to the U.K. in 2004 - First in April to pick up Showa Fandango a linebred Intrepid grandson from Irene Plumstead's Showa Lhasa Apsos U.K. Leo was shown and quickly finished his American Championship in June 2004 and produced 2 litters here in California before returning to the U.K. in April 2005.
Leo is a lovely 10.5 inch male with correct coat texture straight front legs reverse sissors bite with all teeth. He weights 15 pounds and is up on leg. His peaceful happy temperament was a pleasure to live with.
Leo is home now to pursue his English Championship. Leo leaves behind some very exciting puppies which are being readied for the show ring this summer.

Liam is a 10.5 inch at the shoulder male of medium bone . He weights 17 pounds. He has full dentition with larger straightly lined up teeth in a reverse scissors bite. His head has been described as classic ,lovely narrow and very correct by many Lhasa experts and judges from around the world. His mature coat is strong straight and human like in texture. He is independent , smart, athletic and very sound moving with excellent hips with strong patellas.
Thank you Anne Waterhouse for having bred a dog like this and for sharing him. We hope as promised to do the best by him and his USA children to come.
